As the new fall semester starts up again, you’ll notice some new features and updates coming to the Campus Center.
Kiosk and online ordering
Six self-service kiosks are now set up near each of the Campus Center restaurants. There are two for Chick-fil-A, two for Panda Express, one for Pizza Hut, and another for the Student Choice restaurant. Select your order using the touchscreen and then pay with the card reader on the side. Each kiosk only works for its designated restaurant, so if you’re at the Pizza Hut kiosk, you can only order Pizza Hut.
You can also order online. If you download the Boost mobile food ordering app and select your location as IUPUI, you can order Chick-fil-A or Panda Express right from your phone. Once your order is ready, you can pick it up from the to-go order station near Panda Express. Pizza Hut will be available for mobile ordering soon.
New bookstore
The IUPUI bookstore is back open under a new operation company, Follett. You can rent or buy textbooks and pick up school supplies and new designs for IUPUI swag. There are T-shirts, jackets, hats, accessories, dorm decorations and more!
Starbucks: Coming Soon
Starbucks will be back on campus soon! With the change in bookstore operators, the Barnes & Noble Café was closed during the summer. This year, it will reopen as a Starbucks. Chartwells’ management says it is expected to open in less than a month.
