Guide to new IU Indianapolis identity now available

University Communications and Marketing is providing assets, messaging guidance and other resources to assist schools and units in the 2024 transition from IUPUI to IU Indianapolis. The university is simultaneously developing a new, enterprise-wide brand strategy.

A new website equips internal stakeholders with the new identity information and tools, including a training video, name use guide, next steps checklist, and website, social media and email updates.

You may notice displays of both the current IUPUI name and new IU Indianapolis name, such as on signage, during the transition period.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to share thoughts, ideas and questions as the process moves forward. Join the conversation by:

  • Attending virtual office hours with a member of the University Communications and Marketing team.
  • Contacting a marketing or communications leader with your school, department, office or unit.
