Expert Bio

Hee-Tae Jung is an assistant professor in the Department of Biohealth Informatics at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at IU Indianapolis. His contribution to developing serious mobile games for stroke survivors was recognized as an innovation award honoree at CES 2020.

His work has been recognized as cover article and featured article at premier journals, including Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Journal of Biomedical And Health Informatics and Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering.

He received his Ph.D. in information and computer sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, M.S. in computer science from Stanford University and B.A. in computer science from Yonsei University. From 2019 to 2022, he was a post-doctoral fellow in the College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
