Study abroad can be a life-changing experience. It’s an opportunity to explore, meet new people, and gain a deeper understanding of cultures around the world.
This past year, IUPUI students traveled to places like Greece, France, and Chile and documented their experience with photos. They entered the Office of International Affairs Study Abroad Photo Contest, which selected six entries as finalists.
Students were encouraged to vote for their favorite at the Study Abroad Fair and William Bickel’s photo from Greece took first place. The photo, titled “Portal to Paradise,” shows a view of the seaside town of Naoussa through the window of an ancient church.
