IU Indianapolis holiday and winter break hours

The end of the fall semester is Sunday, Dec. 22, and hours across campus offices will be adjusted during the holidays and winter break.

IU Indianapolis offices will be closed Dec. 25 to Jan. 1. Classes resume for the spring semester on Jan. 13.

Campus Center

Starting Dec. 23, the Campus Center will be operating under reduced hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday. It will be closed Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Dec. 25 to Jan. 1.

Regular hours will resume Jan. 11.

Tower Dining

Tower Dining will close at 8 p.m. on Dec. 22 and will reopen with normal semester hours on Jan. 11.

Chick-fil-A and Panda Express

Dec. 23 and 24: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dec. 25 to Jan. 1: Closed
Jan. 2 and 3: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jan. 4 and 5: Closed
Jan. 6 to 10: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Market

Dec. 23 and 24: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 25 to Jan. 1: Closed
Jan. 2 and 3: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Housing and Residence Life

Ball Hall, North Hall and University Tower will close for winter break from noon Dec. 22 to 9 a.m. Jan. 10. Residents will not have access to the building between these dates.

Residents who anticipate experiencing housing insecurity during winter break can submit this winter break stay form by Dec. 20 to request housing.

Riverwalk Apartments will be open over winter break, but residents should plan for community offices and mail services to be closed.

Residence hall community offices will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 22 and reopen at 9 a.m. Jan. 10. There will be no package pick-up during winter break.

The Residence Hall Association is providing emergency food and hygiene kits for residents staying on campus during winter break. Kits will be delivered to community desks and logged as packages for pick-up before desks close. Residents in need can fill out this emergency kit request form.

Parking and Transportation Services

Dec. 18: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Dec. 24: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dec. 25 to Jan. 1: Closed

Beginning Dec. 23, permit holders will have additional parking options during winter break.

JagLine

There will be no JagLine shuttle service Dec. 25 to Jan. 1 and Jan. 4 and 5.

CAPS

CAPS will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 1. Regular CAPS hours will resume Jan. 2.

Campus Health

Campus Health will be closed Dec. 25 to Jan. 1.

For immediate care, visit a hospital, emergency room or urgent care center. Multiple medical facilities are located close to campus.

Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, Office of the Registrar, and Office of the Bursar

Dec. 23 and 24: 9 a.m. to noon for virtual services only.
Dec. 25 to Jan.1: Closed
Jan. 2 and 3: 9 a.m. to noon for virtual services only. 

UITS

In-person support will be available on certain dates at Campus Center 205:

Dec. 21 to 22: Closed
Dec. 23: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 24 to Jan. 1: Closed
Jan. 2 and 3: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jan. 4 and 5: Closed
Jan. 6 to 10: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jan. 11 and 12: Noon to 4 p.m.

During closings, phone calls will route to the UITS Contact Center for an answering service.
